The great ones endure, and Gladys Knight has long been one of the greatest. Very few singers over the last sixty years have matched her unassailable artistry. This seven-time GRAMMY Award winner has enjoyed #1 hits in Pop, Gospel, R&B, and Adult Contemporary, and has triumphed in film, television, and live performance.

All told, Knight has recorded more than 38 albums over the years, including four solo albums: “Good Woman” (1991); “Just for You” (1994); the inspirational “Many Different Roads” (1999); and “At Last” (2001).  “At Last” showed the world that she still has what it takes to record a hit album, employing the talents of contemporary producers like Randy Jackson.

A sizzling sextet of talented musicians, Natty Congeroo and The Flames of Rhythm blend together swing, jazz, and rhythm and blues in an exciting live show that will have guests foot-tapping and hip-swinging all night long. The Flames of Rhythm have worked hard to become one of the leading swing bands in Europe and regularly perform for major international festivals, prestigious vintage events and swing dances.

Recognized as one of Bristol’s Most Influential Women in 2022 by Bristol. Live, she’s an award-winning songstress of extraordinary calibre.

Named one of the ‘fiercest’ performers WILL.I.AM has ever seen, compared to the likes of Amy Winehouse and Freddy Mercury, Beth Morris & The Moon Risers are definitely catching the eye of the industry. Her painfully scratched and bruised vocal style, unapologetic honesty and ability to share her truth through her music is what makes Beth undeniably unique.

AWARD-WINNING COMEDY in the Paradiso

Angela Barnes swapped a career in health and social care for stand-up in 2010 and hasn’t looked back.

Within just a couple of years she had won the BBC New Comedy Award in 2011 and toured around the country with her stand-up shows. She returns to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 2022 with a brand-new show called Hot Mess, which will go on to tour nationwide in 2023.

Angela has starred in BBC Two’s Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo, House of Games, and Hypothetical on Dave. She is a firm favourite on BBC Radio 4, having featured on The Now Show and The News Quiz – including a recent stint as the host. She has also hosted BBC Radio 4 Extra’s Newsjack.

Throw your hands in the air for your higher perspective when you get down with the Datura Roots Collective! Welcome to the cultural melting pot and rich sonic tapestry of this hard to pin down, yet identifiable and accessible Devonshire troupe. Grown from humble beginnings in a small seaside resort. Their music is Inspired from a blend of roots reggae and dub to smokey blues & Jazz, twisted up with hip-hop and Electronica. It’s Blistering Roots fusion, delivered with toe tapping fervour!

Meet singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist KATYA, who stepped onto some of the main stages at 2023’s most popular UK festivals. KATYA is known for her refreshingly personal solo performances where she combines her soulful vocals and layered guitar with electronic beats, jazz overtones and atmospheric soundscapes, courtesy of numerous triggered effects. 

FESTIVAL FOR FOOD LOVERS

From fine dining to street food, Henley is the Festival for food lovers with a raft of pop-up bars and restaurants adorning the riverside. Table dining is available at The Riverside Restaurant, the Riverside Kitchen, The Terrace Restaurant and new for 2024 award winning and renowned gastro pub The Bottle & Glass in Binfield Heath will be curating the water fronted The Henley Festival Bistro Garden.

Picnic Hampers are available from Pavilion foods in Henley for those wishing to start the evening off with a touch of ‘car park’ dining made easy.

VISUAL ARTS SHOWCASE

Henley Festival is known for bringing visual art to the forefront of the festival scene with innovative installations curated by some of the UK’s most talented artists, photographers and galleries.

This year’s programme will bring fine art, ceramics, sculptures, photography, prints and paintings to the banks of the Thames, with a raft of stunning work adorning the Festival’s Galleries and Sculpture Garden.

Exhibitors include Haut de Gamme, Punchbowl Gallery, The Barker Gallery, Panter & Hall and world-renowned artists Tommy Gurr and Nina Brooke.

PURE HEAVEN

Two of clubbing’s best known brands have joined forces to present PURE HEAVEN exclusively for the Henley Festival. Tris Levitate is a captivating force within London’s Club scene.

Followed by Rylan! Rylan is an award-winning television presenter, radio DJ, podcaster, and number one bestselling author and started his career as a contestant on the ninth series of The X Factor.

SPECTACULAR FIREWORKS

Each iconic evening at Henley Festival is brought to a jaw dropping conclusion with spectacular firework displays exclusively designed by the passionate pyrotechnic professionals at Titanium Fireworks, the team behind some of the UK’s biggest firework shows in the last decade, from The Mayor of London New Year’s Eve celebrations, Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, Liverpool River of Light, Hull 2017 City of Culture, England 2015 Rugby World Cup, Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games to the London 2012 Olympics.
