Celebrate English Wine Week with a special one-day riverside experience dedicated entirely to wines made right here in England on Saturday 20th June.

Set along the banks of the Thames, this relaxed and sociable event brings together a carefully curated selection of English reds, whites, and sparkling wines, from local vineyards as well as standout producers from further afield. It’s a chance to taste, compare, and discover just how far English wine has come.

Spend the day meeting the people behind the bottles, learning about the winemaking process, and understanding what makes English wine finer than ever before. Whether you’re a seasoned enthusiast or simply curious, it’s the perfect way to enjoy great wine in a beautiful setting.

Situated next to Thameside Social and by the finish line of the Henley Women’s Regatta expect a summer vibe like no other.

There will also be the chance to browse other stalls and stands showcasing vineyard tours, tasting and associated experiences.

How to get here

The English Wine Week Festival is situated on the banks of the river Thames on the lawns of Upper Thames Rowing Club, next to Thameside Social just a short 10 minute stroll from the centre of Henley.

There is a taxi drop off available should you wish to arrive by car but, there will also be a ferry boat service – advanced booking is recommended (more information to follow). This will be a great way to soak in the Regatta atmosphere before disembarking and making your way down to Thameside Social.
