THE FLOATING STAGE

With a career spanning four decades and over 100M album sales worldwide, award-winning singer, songwriter, musician, producer and Eurythmics co-founder Dave Stewart is among the most respected and accomplished talents in popular music history. Stewart co-wrote and produced each Eurythmics album in his world-famous duo with Annie Lennox.

He has also produced albums and co-written songs with Bob Dylan, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Gwen Stefani, Damian Marley, Stevie Nicks, Daryl Hall, Bryan Ferry, A.R. Rahman, Katy Perry, Sinead OConnor, Aretha Franklin, Al Green, and Joss Stone, and many others. Recently, Stewart and Stone penned the new musical, “The Time Travelers Wife,” opening at The Apollo Theatre in London’s West End October 2023.

In 2022 Dave Stewart released Ebony McQueen, one of his most ambitious and autobiographical works of his remarkable life and landmark career; an exhilarating, original, semi-autobiographical musical fable about music and young manhood, finding hard-earned wisdom and true love with the girl next door. The acclaimed album was released last year and work on the film is due to begin shortly. In addition, he has recently completed a unique music short film titled “Who To Love,” a collaboration between himself, Italian artists Mokadelic and acclaimed actress Greta Scarano, set to premiere at Rome Festival in October 2023.

JAZZ in the Paradiso Spiegel Tent

Local artist Rebecca Poole is a highly acclaimed singer songwriter, previously performing under the artist name ‘Purdy’. Rebecca has supported Jools Holland on tour including knock out performances at The Royal Albert Hall and Wembley Stadium where she sang her self penned Remembrance song ‘This is the Song’ with the Central Band of the Royal Airforce. Rebecca has shared the stage with Jamie Cullum, Lana Del Rey, Simply Red and Mick Jagger.

Her unique dulcet tones landed her a part in the hit Netflix series The Crown, singing ‘Can’t take my eyes off you’. Her latest album ‘Dreamers Ball’ has garnered impressive reviews including Record of the Week on both BBC Sounds and Jazz Fm.

Rebecca is best known to Henley for her Purdy’s Pop Up Jazz Club, infectiously playful character, deep velvet vocals and choice variety of feel good swing and moody blues.

WORLD & FOLK in the Bedouin Tent

NATALIE GRAY is a singer/songwriter originally from Reading. Described as if The 1975 had a baby with Madonna circa 1990, Natalie is making a name for herself in the Synth and commercial Pop world.

Natalie was featured on Billy Da Kid’s debut single “Get What You Give” remixed by Joel Corry signed to New State Music, as well as the vocalist for Charlie Hedges’ and Eddie Craig’s single “You’re No Good For Me” signed to Spinnin’ Records and most recently the vocalist on “Don’t Walk Away” by Damian Harrison which has just hit over 20 million Spotify streams.

Festival favourites Horses On The Beach’s music moves seamlessly from catchy in-your-face choruses to intimate, quieter moments, and their diverse setlists includes everything from Latin and Balkan Jazz to Hip Hop, Ska and Reggae. Living under the same roof in Bristol, it’s no surprise that their energetic stage presence emanates connection, palpable chemistry and effortless friendship. The lead vocals emanate ‘Ska Hayley Williams’, the brass section talk power, soul and a touch of giddy energy, while the bass and drums sing along to every song with a bop in their steps.

AWARD-WINNING COMEDY in the Paradiso

The multi-award-deserving flâneur, raconteur and bon-viveur Marcel Lucont returns to Henley with his trademark deadpan French wit, wry observations and world-class erotic poetry.

As seen on Comedy Central at The Comedy Store, Sky Atlantic’s Set List, BBC1’s The John Bishop Show and BBC3’s Live At The Electric, Marcel has toured the world to much critical acclaim, catch the Gallic Symbol while you can.

“Excellently dry… superb” – The Times
