Many of you will recognize this month’s guest speaker, Martina Swinburn, a familiar face at HFN who always walks into the room with warmth and joy surrounding her. She will be sharing her story in a talk titled, “What I Wanted to Be and What I Became – My Life Lessons Along the Way.”

Martina’s journey takes us from her upbringing in rural Ireland to building a life in Henley on Thames, with many twists and turns along the way. As a qualified Counsellor and Psychotherapist, with a 20-year background in nursing, she brings a unique perspective on how life’s experiences have shaped her.

In her talk, she will share practical tools and tips for managing anxiety, stress, and depression—gathered from both her personal life and professional career. Martina will also reflect on how the good times, as well as the challenges, have shaped her, offering an inspiring and heartfelt story that is filled with hope, joy, and laughter.

Every Fourth Friday of the month, we  provide a supportive and welcoming environment where we focus on conversation, inspiration and connection. Take time for yourself and come along to expand your personal and professional network as you connect with like-minded women. All women are welcome – whether you’re self employed, employed, currently taking a break or anything in between. Come for joy, for friendship, for business or for life. Our focus is on connection first and we find that when we start there business and friendship follow naturally.
