Welcome back to the Henley Female Network! It feels like a long time since our last get together in July and I am SO excited about this months speaker. 

Each Fourth Friday of the month, we  provide a supportive and welcoming environment where we focus on conversation, inspiration and connection. Take time for yourself and come along to expand your personal and professional network as you connect with like-minded women.

This month Erin Kennedy MBE will be taking the hot seat. Erin will be freshly home from her Gold Medal Paralympic journey in Paris and will be here to share her story whilst still on a high!

Erin is a 2 xParalympic Champion, 3x World Champion, 4x European Champion, World Record Holder and   Breast Cancer Campaigner. 

 She was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2022 at the age of 29 and is an advocate for early detection and diagnosis. She continued competing during chemotherapy, winning Gold at the 2022 European Championships. Erin returned to international competition in 2023 following a double mastectomy and 15 rounds of chemotherapy, winning the 2023 European Championships exactly a year to the day that she was diagnosed. 

Erin was awarded an MBE in the 2022 New Year’s Honours List for Services to Rowing.

Not only is she courageous and inspiring with an extraordinary story to tell, she is also a fabulous speaker. You are in for a treat and  we feel very lucky to have her with us so soon after her epic Paris victory.
