Getting to Henley

by car

Henley-on-Thames is easy to reach by car. The famous riverside market town is only 30 miles from London entering from the east, 24 miles from Oxford from the north and 9 miles from Reading from the south. Motorways M4 and M40 intersect only a few miles outside the town with the A4130 and A4155 leading directly to Henley.

There are six car parks available in Henley for both short and long stay, along with EV charging points. There is also on street Pay & Display parking. Beware that parking in designated Resident Parking bays could result in a fine.

On street Pay & Display charges Mon-Sat 8am-6pm (no return within 1 hour):

  • Up to 1 hour – £1.10
  • Up to 2 hours – £1.50

There are currently EV charging points located at Kings Road Car Park (14), Greys Road Car Park (12), Mill Meadows Car Park (4) and at Tesco Supermarket (4).
