Banging BBQ at The Boathouse
Bistro at the Boathouse’s Shaun Dickens was flexing his BBQ muscles on Friday, and they were impressive.
Shaun says that he has had this idea for a while and had never got round to it so on Friday for one night only, not the Blues Brothers, but Shaun’s BBQ tray for two.
It featured a 10 hour smoked brisket, 1/2 smoked chicken, wild boar sausages, pulled pork, brioche buns, sweetcorn salsa, house pickles, smoky fries and slaw. The tray for two to share was £50 and he was right when he said ‘big portions only’. Fantastic value for money and darn good.
If the Boathouse is going to be slinging these out this summer, Experience Henley will have a resident seat!
