COOK the popular frozen food shop known for its award-winning hand prepared meals and puddings, is upping sticks from Duke Street, and is moving to Gardiner Place next to Echoes Tap Room.

A great move that will make COOK more accessible, with its new location adjacent to the Kings Road Car Park. This change also frees up their current site on Duke Street, potentially creating an opportunity for an independent business to take the space.

This combined with the Henley Sports shop being under offer and newly opened The Duke Pub & Restaurant, promises to bring new vibrancy to that area of the town.

It’s all positive news for Henley, with COOK taking space at Gardiner Place and Tom Howley Kitchens, luxury kitchen company also planning on moving into what was The Children’s Shop.

About COOK

COOK was founded in 1997 by Ed and Dale, two big-hearted entrepreneurs, with a little shop in Farnham and an old pizza delivery kitchen. Inspired by the taste of great home-cooking, their dream was to find a better way of doing business: working for people and the planet, not just profit.

Today, COOK meals and puddings have picked up scores of Great Taste Awards and can be found in hundreds of independent shops all over the UK. We have four kitchens, where everything is still prepared by hand, over 100 of our own shops and over 1000 independent stockists, and a thriving delivery service.

A founding member of B Corp UK, part of the global movement of responsible businesses, COOK is certified by the Living Wage Foundation and has been voted the Best British Food & Drink Company to work for. Our programme to help people back into work after prison, homelessness and other challenges has been recognised with a Queen’s Award for Enterprise.
