Henley loves a bit of bunting and the opportunity to pop the glad rags on, sharpen up that singing voice and train that right arm for supping fizz or Pimm’s, and this year’s Platinum Jubilee celebrating the wonderful achievement of seventy years on the throne by Her Majesty The Queen is just the ticket.
Street parties are being held across Henley including Friday Street & Queen Street and Marmion Road on 4th June and Valley Road, St. Marks Road, St. Andrews Road, Berkshire Road, Belle Vue Road, Western Avenue, Niagara Road and Gainsborough Road on June 5th.
On Friday 3rd June judging is taking place for both a children’s colouring competition and a Best Dressed Shop Window competition organised by Henley Town Council.
There’s going to be lots going on so we thought we would round everything up and pop it one place so you can plan your long Bank Holiday Jubilee Weekend celebrations.
