Chin Chin Henley!
Chin chin Henley, raise a glass to the town’s newest wine shop due to open at the end of May on the corner of Station Road and Reading Road next door to the popular, bright and cheery Daisy Love Henley café.
The new wine shop is the result of the passion for all things Italian by Adrian fry. He has left the corporate world to follow his dream after falling in love with wine and Italy, though Chin Chin will be specialising in quality wines from around the world, some you may know and some under the radar from less well know wine regions for the best money around.
The shop is compact and bijou with seating for only three in the window to allow for tastings and as Adrian is hoping some accompaniments to the wine such as charcuterie & cheese and maybe going forward some Italian small plate dishes.
Adrian is also keen to include some cookware ranges in the shop (with a wine influence) after he and his wife Monica, who runs Daisy Love Henley, visited an expo in Paris and fell in love with some of the pieces they saw.
Currently Adrian is elbow deep in fitting out the shop, he and his family are then off to Italy for a recharge, to soak up the atmosphere and bring it back ready and raring to go at the end of May.
Sounds like a wonderful new addition to Henley’s line up and the increasingly buzzing South Side of the town and we can’t wait for them to open and discover new wines. What a fabulous town Henley is.
