Local historian Richard Pinches has announced a new local talk initiative on behalf of the Royal British Legion, open to non-members based at the Masonic Centre in Henley-on-Thames. They will be military-based talks from throughout all eras.
The first talk is his speciality the original desert explorer, Ralph Bagnold and how he came to start the original desert special force, The Long Range Desert (LRDG) in 1940.
Date: Thursday 11th June
Time: 7pm for 7.30pm start
