Join author and broadcaster Dawn O’Porter for a special fundraising evening in support of The Kenton, as she celebrates her new book Hungry Eyes: A Memoir of Appetite, Ambition and the Odd Bag of Wotsits for Dinner.
In this intimate and engaging conversation, Dawn reflects on the meals that shape who we become and the role food plays in our lives. Exploring both the literal and metaphorical ingredients that help us build a life, she considers the lifelong pressure to “bring something to the table” and how it influences who we believe we are.
Dawn will be signing copies of her new book, which will be available to buy on the evening.
Ticket Prices include a £1.50 Booking Fee, a £1 Restoration Levy and a 25p Community Fund Levy.
