The Lockdown Lodge is coming back for the 2025 season.

Nestled alongside a beautiful stretch of the River Thames by Hambleden Lock, The Lockdown Lodge is a Pop-Up café, bar and casual eatery by day with a terrace that transforms into a destination ticketed supper club by night!

Looking for a delicious lunch while strolling along the Thames Towpath? How about a refreshing cold drink with friends in the English sunshine? (Don’t worry – there are undercover tables too!) Or perhaps you’re simply looking for a new and exciting place to visit? Whatever the occasion, they’ve got you covered!

They serve locally-sourced alcoholic drinks, local Anonymous coffee, delicious takeaway food such as their infamous burgers for that well-earned reward at the end of your walk. All of their takeaway food and drinks are served in fully compostable containers to minimise their impact on the environment and they are working hard on sourcing produce as sustainably as possible.

08:00 – Hot & cold non-alcoholic drinks and pastries
11:00 – Bar opens
12:00 noon till 21:00 – Street Food Kitchen, no bookings required
22:45 – Last orders at the Bar

Our carefully curated taster menu has been designed to elevate your experience, with each course bringing together fresh, local, seasonal ingredients and vibrant flavours to match the breath taking landscape; perfect for a memorable dinner.

Our tasting Menu is only available Thursday, Friday and Saturday evening

Sunday Brunch

Their Sunday Brunch is all about enjoying good food in a unique setting on the terrace to enjoy the calm river and countryside views. Treat yourself to a delicious mix of brunch classics with a twist. No fuss, just great flavours, fresh ingredients, and a whole lot of comfort.

Brunch is only available Sunday mornings

Private Dining

There is also an opportunity to host small outdoor weddings, birthdays and celebrations of any kind should you wish to hire out the space.

Where To Find Us

Access is by boat, bike or foot. We are a 10 minute stroll across Hambleden Weir from Mill End Car Park, or a very pleasant 45 minute walk along the River Thames from Henley Bridge.

Please do not park at the Mill or Hambleden Marina as parking is strictly for residents only.

For those traveling by boat, please do not moor on the lock strip in front of the Lodge.
