Breakfast Conversation with Antje Kicinski
Welcome back to the Henley Female Network where every fourth Friday of the month we provide a warm, supportive and welcoming space for conversation, inspiration and connection to flourish. Take time for yourself and come along to expand your personal and professional network as you connect with like-minded women. All women are welcome – whether you’re self employed, employed, currently taking a break or anything in between. Come for joy, for friendship, for business or for life. Our focus is on connection first and we find that when we start there business and friendship follow naturally.
We are beyond excited to have regular HFN attendee Antje Kicinski joining us to share her story – From Burnout to Balance – regaining my edge through nutrition.
For nearly 20 years Antje was a successful investment banker. It was an exciting, yet demanding job and involved long hours and extensive travel. She was “running” a family on the side and never stopped. It was her ambition to be a top performer at her job and at the same time she wanted to nurture her family and manage a household. By the time her eldest child was 10, she was completely burnt out. She could not concentrate on her work, suffered from extreme anxiety, restful sleep had become a luxury and her digestive system was completely out of sorts. What was worse was that every doctor she asked for help told her that she was completely healthy.
So she began to figure out her journey back to health, which involved understanding the root cause of her depleted health, eating the right foods and properly managing stress levels. During the years that followed, Antje earned a Post Graduate Diploma in Personalised Nutrition, a practitioner certification in NLP coaching and qualified as a Registered Nutritional Therapist. She realised that she would not have needed to come so close to the edge, had she known then what she knows today.
In her practice Antje has helped many women find the root cause of their medical issues, feel empowered to become the CEO of their own health and learn how to regain and maintain their edge.
