Watch out, watch out Tilly Trott’s about! Panto at its finest
What an absolute joy of a panto Jack and the Beanstalk is at Henley’s Kenton Theatre this year. The Immersion Theatre Company have knocked it out of the park with this face-achingly good production full of FE-FI-FO-FUN!
Be prepared to fully immerse yourself with plenty of singing, booing, LOTS of laughing and oodles of grown-up and kids participation. The quality of the cast and performance was only equalled by the wonderful squeals of delight from the excited audience.
Hang on to your fellas though ladies as Tilly Trott is looking for a new man in her life!
The whole production was brilliant from the lighting, sound, fabulous costumes to the wonderful cast. Dan Whitley as Simple Simon had more bounce than Tigger, providing plenty of slapstick humour, and has a rather chortle inducing ‘singing scene’ with Jack (Sam Peggs). Christopher Laishley is so good being at being bad with his subtly evil charming way as the giant’s evil henchman, Creepstink. Plenty of booing required!
This show will leave you full of beans and more. Dancing cows, a giant beanstalk, a fearsome giant and a magical fairy are just some of the delights that await you in this hilarious and heart-warming adventure.
Don’t miss this bean-tastic treat for the whole family that will make you feel like a kid again that has you cheering, clapping and singing along from start to finish!
Jack and the beanstalk runs until 31st December – tickets available.
