Dining Fables, a food channel dedicated to going local and eating global, return to Henley and this time they headed to The Plough at Shiplake which only recently opened in December, and by spooky coincidence…honestly it was, they tried some of the same dishes as when Experience Henley went to try it out last weekend.

The cheese and ham croquettes to whet our appetite, we didn’t get given the cheeky chicken one! To start proper, the Scorched Sea Trout and the Smoked Chicken & Foie Gras Terrine, followed by the Berkshire Pheasant (image above) and the Pan Fried venison.
