Terror on the Thames arrives in Henley

A big sack of Halloween fun on the streets of Henley-on-Thames.

Spend the day with your little ‘terrors’ trick or treating in their costumes at participating shops in Henley. Shops & businesses taking part will be displaying black & orange balloons at their entrances with treats…or tricks inside their store.

Donate your food item/s to the FOOD BANK ‘Donation Station’ in exchange for your ‘I Tricked Henley’ bag.

Lots of fun activities in the town centre supporting local charities, creepy trails, stocks, music, apple bobbing and a whole lot of Halloween fun.

Terror on the Thames is a community event supporting local charities and businesses including Nomad, a Henley charity responding to the local social needs in our town with innovation & kindness.

How does it work?

Dressing up in your finest or creepiest Halloween outfit is positively encourage for ALL ages and head into Henley Town Centre. There will be prizes!
Take your ambient food items to the ‘DONATION STATION’ in the town centre in exchange for your TERROR ON THE THAMES trick or treat bag
Trawl the town visiting shops & businesses that have black & orange balloons outside – (please respect the businesses not taking part)
There will be lots of activities around the town. A list of where to go will be posted out prior to the event
Make sure to check out the Halloween Trail….on the Experience Henley app or pick up a sheet from participating shops.
There will be a Pumpkin carving competition – bring your pumpkins to be displayed and judged. Prizes for the best pumpkins (adult & child categories)
Best dressed window competition – A public vote AND a judges vote
